| Defining an Innovation Strategy by Bernard Katz | | | The capability of a company to innovate is directly linked to that company’s sustainability. Through innovation a company can gain a true competitive advantage by adapting to changes in the business environment more effectively and efficiently than their competition. These changes include applying new technologies, entering new markets, forging new partnerships and adapting to new legislation. Most recently, the concept of an innovation process to formalise Innovation Management in a company has gained popularity. The formalisation of an innovation processes aims to consistently deliver successful innovations as opposed to the hit and miss successes of innovation in the past. | Indutech's new Integrated Local Government Planning and Delivery Solution by Louis Louw | | | Indutech has developed a unique local government solution that can support the very important national drive to improve the efficiency en effectiveness of service delivery in the local government sphere. This solution covers the complete integrated system of planning and delivery and consists of of a number of elements. | Principles of Innovation by Louis Louw | | | Gary Hamel once stated that “there is no sausage crank for innovation, but it’s possible to increase the odds of a ‘eureka!’ moment by assembling the right ingredients.” These ingredients can be defined as those fundamental principles on which most successful innovations are built. We compiled a list with some of these innovation principles Indutech has collected over the years. | Indutech Personnel | | Wybrand Thuynsma joined us on 23 February replacing Bonga Dwayi as Indutech’s Systems Administrator. We wish him a fruitful and interesting career as part of the Indutech team! | | On a sad note we have to say good bye to one of the senior members and board members of Indutech. Bernard Katz is leaving Indutech to pursue a career in the Health Care consultation business and we at Indutech wish him all the success and look forward to continue having him on board as advisory board member. | | | | | | | © Indutech | 2011 | |
